The deadline for submitting final papers is May 15, 2013. To submit a paper, please follow the instructions below:

1. In order to be able to submit a paper, your abstract must first be approved. To check to see if your abstract has been approved, go to Dashboard and then My Abstracts and check the Status column. It should read "Approved."

2. Once your abstract has been approved, go back to your Dashboard. You should now be able to see a My Papers icon. Click on My Papers to see a list of all your approved abstracts. Click on the green arrow next to the specific abstract for which you would like to submit a paper to go to the Submit Paper page.

3. Make sure that all of your coauthors are highlighted blue in the coauthors box. In order to select coauthors that are not yet highlighted, simply click on their names. To select more than one coauthor, hold down the ctrl/cmd (control or command) key and click on all of the names you want to include. For more information on adding coauthors, see below.

4. Make sure your paper is in pdf format (there are links available for free pdf converters) and follows the SMiRT-22 template, which you can find here:

Any papers that do not follow the template format as well as the guidelines and instructions listed within the template will have to be revised and resubmitted later before it can be approved. Once a paper is approved it cannot be revised, so please try to submit your final versions.

     5. Complete the remainder of the form and click Save. 

Adding Co-Authors:

1. If you had not added and selected coauthors during the abstract submission phase, you will have to add them to your master list of coauthors prior to paper submission. Click on "Manage Co-Authors." This is where you can add and manage a master list of all of your co-authors for all your papers.

2. Click on "Add Coauthor" and enter their last name and email address. All co-authors must be registered users in the system.

3. Once you've added all your co-authors to the "Manage Co-Authors" list, you can now submit your paper.

4. When submitting the paper as instructed above, under the subsection "Co Authors" you should see a list of all your possible co-authors. Please make sure to highlight the name of the co-author for that specific paper. If you are selecting more than one co-author, hold down your "Ctrl" key to highlight multiple names. 

5. Fill out the rest of the paper submittal form and click "Save."

Resubmitting Papers:

1. If you've already submitted a paper but would like to resubmit an updated version or have been asked to make changes, please go to your "My Papers" page through your Dashboard. You will not be able to resubmit a paper once it has been approved. If there are crucial modifications that need to be made, please email us. We will only allow for resubmissions if it is essential to the content of your paper.

2. Under the Actions column, click on the green arrow to resubmit your papers

3. There is no need to delete older versions. SMiRT-22 will only use the most recent version of your paper by default.

Adding Papers to Registration:

1. On the registration payment page (through My Account) there is an section to select papers to be added to your registration. Most authors will currently show "no record found" due to the fact that only final papers will be visible on this list. This will not show your approved abstracts.

2. Each paid registration may have up to five papers. Any author or coauthor of a paper may select to have that paper as part of their registration.

3. You do you not have to wait until papers have been submitted in order to make your payment for registration. You can add papers to your registration at a later date.

4. Once your paper has a status of "approved" and you are ready to add it to your registration, please go to your My Account page. At the bottom you will see a link to "View Payment Receipt / Add Papers." Click on this link and then click "Add Papers" in the top right corner of the page. You should now see a box of all the approved full papers for which you are either the author or coauthor. Please put check up to five papers you would like select to be included under registration and click "Save Papers."

5. Any papers that are not eventually attached to a registration will be removed from the conference proceedings. Each paper can only be included under one registration.
